And we're back...
It's been almost two years since I last updated this newsletter, and a lot has changed. Since the previous edition, I've added two more kids and switched jobs. The world has changed, too. We're not allowed to see anyone or go anywhere or do anything.
Basically all we're allowed to do right now is hoard toilet paper and create digital content. And I'm all out of toilet paper.
I was already beginning a 12-week parental leave with a newborn when Corona came a-callin', so my day-to-day life hasn't changed as much as some people's, and my free time is actually pretty limited to nap times and after the kids go to bed. That said, I would love to use some of this time to write and hopefully have people read and interact with what I write.
So to those of you who are already subscribers, I hope you'll stick around as I attempt to write more frequently or at least provide links and brief commentary on interesting things that I've come across as we are all trapped in our homes and increasingly slaves to technology for human interaction and mental stimulation.
In fact, here are a few things for you:
Stay inside, kids.
This GIF says it all. We need people to legitimately lock down their lives for a while so that we don't all have to lock down for an extended period of time and ruin everything forever.
Well, that's all for today. I promise it won't always be so music-and-cleanliness-heavy, but these are the times we live in and at least I'm back in the newsletter saddle! I honestly have no idea how long, how frequently or even if I'll keep this up, but I'd certainly like to.
Thanks for reading, and feel free to reply if you have cool links to share or thoughts on any of the above.
Wash 'em again,
