Aloha to the saints who are faithful in Christ Jesus,

I am writing to you to pray for a sister in Christ who just discovered today that she has a brain tumor, and it looks like she will be going into surgery right away.

Larry, Julie, and daughter Kaylah lost their home a few months ago in the Kilauea eruption, and have relocated to Washington until (we hope) they can return to Hawaii. Julie has been hosting an online women's Bible study through it all, and has lived out the scripture "let those who suffer according to God's will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good." (1 Peter 1:19).0

Please pray according to God's will as David did, "To you, O LORD, I cry, and to the Lord I plead for mercy: “What profit is there in my death, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it tell of your faithfulness? Hear, O LORD, and be merciful to me! O LORD, be my helper!” Psalm 30:8-10

We know that our lives are given in order "to the praise of his glory." (Ephesians 1).  Be merciful Lord and extend Julie's days so she can praise and tell of Your faithfulness!

Thank you and God Bless You,
Pastor Matt Purvis
